lol, you just want to buy them all out. I did the same thing. XD

I have been hoarding my maps since they first announced the treasure hunting dungeons. Them being unique won't stop you if you think outside the box.
A mentor stole my house, slapped me across the face, and raised my ping from 15 to 30. Literally unplayable.

The only problem is that the 1% on each server would buy every single map up for sale & monopolise things like the new dungeon or Unidentifiable drops.
Yes, there are minor workarounds by having one on each retainer & using the mailbox but that's nothing like having 8 retainers with 175 stacks of 99 maps on each.
I think you all are thinking too much under the illusion created by SE making it Unique in first place. Maps are IMO not different from any other items on MB. Some can monopolize it? Sure but till what point? And why it would be a problem with maps but not other items already on MB like Zu mount, red script mats, minions etc., ie. high value items that normally gated by time/rng? Why would people buy a stack of maps for an average price 100k each while the items they can get from each maps only worth 20k? And please don't add treasure dungeon here yet, it is still new content. And when it release, the price of maps will spike anyway, until people can evaluate the "worth" of the treasure dungeon. In the end the value will still balance out.
Unable to stack maps surely helps stop people buying all the maps available from MB, but the more realistic reason IMO, is that they stop buying maps from MB when the price starts going higher than what they deemed those maps worth.
The uniqueness is only a delusion, and adds nothing else but inconvenience.
From your OP:
That is the exact reason they won't change it before 3.3.
Or each map level can have its own cooldown. It makes no sense why I can't grab a HW map and the ARR maps in the same day. Treasure Dungeon just makes all the older ARR maps viable again but still extremely limited since we can't have access to the two maps.
