[SPOILERS] Minfillia' Fate in 3.2

So as is being discussed in the MSQ thread of this forum, allow me to once again make a thread to discuss Minifillia who we now know is Hydalen's Servent and she sacrificed herself to save others. So... how does this play in the the Light vs Dark motif of the game? I question our motives in the Scions and wonder, are we still doing the right thing? Discuss, reflect, and yes this does tie into that other thread in a way.

It's the first time we've ever had Hydaelyn consume one of our own. Is this something she's been capable of all along? Can she just do that? Isn't that, uh, what Primals do?

We know what the Darkness is doing now is capital-B Bad, sure, but how bad was it before Zodiark was banished? What exactly is Hydaelyn after that she would go to this much trouble?

Well, according to the Minfydaelyn hybrid, it seemed to me that Minfilia offered herself to Hydaelyn. I didn't get the impression that she was "consumed" but more that she relinquished her will to become a vessel.

At the end of 2.0 she was contacted by Hydaelyn and initially exclaimed 'NO!' before reluctantly taking her leave. We don't see her again until 3.2...and when she speaks whenever she is seemingly Minifilia she is hesitating and seems very reluctant about the entire thing.

She says herself that she was swept up by Hydaelyn and guided toward Thancred and Y'shtola, but then says:

"There, adrift and alone, Her voice silent once more....I prayed. For those we have lost. For those we can yet save. To Her I would make an offering..."

Yes, but Minfilia didn't need to be 'swept up'. She was with the WoL right up until she was called away. The WoL would have very likely protected her and taken her to safety.

Could be her reluctance showing through. Could also be her having trouble reconciling the merging of two entities.

Possible that Hydaelyn is no longer fully Hydaelyn just as Minfilia is no longer Minfilia.

I'm not 100% convince that Minfilia is alive.

Like on the orther thread, beacuse of some tips and main picture of 3.2
I would think she is chain to the fate of the mothercrystal, and once she is no longer needed we may see it again. But if Hydaelyn, so to will Minfilia.

The tl;dr of my opinions:

I wish the Hydaelyn's Emissary theory had been right. At least Elidibus is still an individual while speaking for Zodiark.

When Minfillia's alter ego The Voice of the Mother spoke to us, we were told to seek. To seek what? Looking back on the conversation there's a source that may be a big player in the actual battle between Light and Dark. Is this Source what Hydalean needs to regain her strength?

For the Emissary theory... eh... kind of got blown out of the water, but! I still believe Minfillia will act as Emissary for Hydalean once we're able to do whatever it takes to bring her back (feeling 3.4 or 3.55).
