Please remove the 6 hour time gate on Chocobo Fledglings

I don't understand the purpose of this time gate. It's something straight out of some Facebook tier game designed to make you check Facebook every few hours.

The process of taking a Chocobo from rank 1-40 for retirement is enough to stretch out how long it takes to acquire that perfect ped9 bird. I'm at the point where I'm inbreeding to chase those 4 star stats, at the 6 hour time gate is completely unnecessary if the goal is to make that process take a very long time. Assuming the time gate on fledglings was removed completely, I'm still looking at 100+ hours of chocobo racing just to get the right breeding stock for that final fledgling; and then I'll spend more hours getting it to rank 50.

I could understand some drawn out process that adds time to collecting a fledgling; but a time gate, especially something as ridiculous as 6 hours, is ill-conceived.

Please, remove the insane time gate on collecting a fledgling after breeding.

It is kinda silly that it takes less time to train a chocobo to master its physical form than it does to birth it. And I'm kinda anxious breeding my chocobos now. I could end up ruining my chance at getting a good chocobo if I get a string of bad breeds, and I won't know for another 30 hours (closer to three days due to my having to work).
Still, I don't feel bad for having to wait six hours per breed. It's still less time than what Triple Triad has you wait for each card.

I feel all the Golden Saucer games are kinda silly in one way or another. I feel like overall, Chocobo Racing is at the best spot compared to the others.
I was most excited about Triple Triad, but it's at a really bad spot right now. No chance of playing against other people, NPCs have to cheat to be a challenge, you need to win hundreds of times against them to get a card, cards don't mean anything, it's literally impossible to get a few cards due to mishandling the system required to unlock them...
Well, Square Enix never was any good at balancing, so it makes sense.

If it takes you 100 hours to breed a perfect 40 star chocobo, you're doing something VERY wrong. I finished in less than 30 hours (~650 races) at a conservative time estimate, and I started double training at p6 (most people start at p7). If you have two retired chocobos, you can breed up to 3 fledglings at a time by putting your proof of covering into your retainers. I have 2 extra retainers so I was able to make 5 fledglings before bed, check them in the morning, and breed 5 more before work and I'd be ready to train another chocobo or two by the time I got home.

Are you kidding me right now? You're creating fledglings at 5x the intuitively possible rate due to having extra retainers, yet you find it surprising that it would take someone close to 100 hours of chocobo racing to create a bloodline that could produce a perfect bird. The debate here is what purpose the 6 hour time gate serves other than to artificially, and completely lazily, dragging out the process of playing a minigame as effectively as possible. It's ludicrous.

You get two retainers by default so you can definitely breed 3 at once and be done by dinner time. It took me FAR less than 100 hours of literal chocobo racing so I have a hard time believing that you would take over 3x as long as me unless you're exaggerating for effect.
