    Suggestion: T-shirts

Am I the only one who really want a simple t-shirt? I know we have things like the Hempen Tunic but I'm talking about something simpler without the belts/hood and with a more smooth texture. I don't think it wouldn't be too out of place either.

I made a mockup based on the apron.

And maybe you could put your FC logo on it?

I think the FC logo would stylistically look better over the location breast pockets tend to be (you know, the breast) rather than smack dab in the middle.
But yes, a casual t-shirt would be nice to lounge in.

I completely agree with this. I hope they are not baggy though. I am sick of the baggy stuff. I want straight pants and a t that doesn't look like a recycled potato sack. I feel like some "travellers" should move into Eorzea and introduce us to foreign fashion to make it fit the lore.

The thing is though, fashion wise t-shirts are actually not as recent a creation as people might think, although they were traditionally worn more as underclothes than outerwear. Given the fact that 'smallclothes' such as the hempen chemise are already being used in game as actual attire, I don't see any reason why this couldn't be added (after all, even FFIX had t-shirts as equipment, aloha t-shirts to be specific, although that was more a subtle in-joke towards Square's now defunct Honolulu division... but I digress).

Yeah in old days women couldnt even show their legs and belly.
Also, dont forget the hooded bikini, the solid metal tank bikini or the fact that the past in Eorzea was for more advanced than the present(allag emp)
So really i agree with both parts of your post.
There really is no reason to limit any type fashion in this game at this point. Especially with the yokai stuff and the FFXIII stuff.

Nope, me too. I said the same thing when I first started playing. It's one of my biggest gripes about this game, it's too "pretty" fashionwise. Even the paupers look like princes. It'd be nice to get some ghetto/normal/practical clothes for once. >.<

Just wanted to quickly bump this topic to thank SE for the Survival Shirt and better yet, the Extreme Survival Shirt from the latest patch. It's exactly what I wanted!
