What is your least favourite class and why?

I enjoy most classes... besides MCH. I really dislike the way MCH plays, when I was leveling it I couldn't wait to be finished, not just because I wanted it to be 60 (of course I did, I wanted everything at 60), but because I wanted to finish it and never touch it again...

Also monk but not because it's a bad job, but because I get motion sickness when playing it thus I'm really terrible at it.

I like all the classes, but my least favourite is the Machinist, I do not like that my skills is tied to RNG.

Ninja, it's a silly fan service class. It's not fun like monk, the quests are boring, and the daggers are lame. I guess Samurai will be up there with Ninja for worst class in game once it's released. Ninjas are specifically in game for anime fans to run about pretending to be *insert favorite anime character here.* Don't even get me started on their absurd run animation.

Couldn't stand it in 1.0. Couldn't stand it in 2.0 Admittedly it's better now, as I have continued to level and try it out, but I just can't "get" it, you know?
Scholar was the saving grace to me regarding healer classes. One focused on damage dealing instead of pure healing. It was a godsend.

Haha maybe healing just isn't in my blood.

For starters I'm more of a rogue player so that's unfair but hey, I like being a sneaky backstabber that deals with her own affairs instead of being a honorable backstabber.
Secondly I despise the Mudras since I have to constantly remember them during a fight and if I miss one mudra i have to wait 20 seconds of cd. I don't like gimmicks like these (hello DRK mana drain and MCH RNG combos!)
And third, a frontstab? What is this, Team Fortress 2 now?! My Rogue's inner self is crying in a corner right now...
And fourth: hide isn't well implemented and doesn't work during boss fights...which it should since it's a -stealth based class- in most games. If the reply I get is "well it's not a stealth based class" then remove hide or something: I want my stealth in mmorpgs!

Brd for me, I hate seeing them in my dungeon runs/raids, every single time I paired with one the dungeon takes noticeably longer and whatever utility they bring is countered by the fact their dps is half of me or less (i'm blm)
even if they use foe requiem to help me it doesn't change the fact that they themselves have awful dps output, especially on aoe, rain of death is as bad as ninjas aoe.

Mch ill throw in too for good measure, the utility they bring does NOT make up for their crap dps, exactly the same as Brd.

When I got paired with a mnk we literally demolished the dungeon run, 3-4x faster than If i was paired with a brd or mch.

The 3rd weakest class to be paired with would be nin, again, the utility does not make up for the major lack of dps the class pulls. I have done hundreds of dungeon runs and it's never a fast run with a brd or mch, experiment yourself and see.

I can't agree with judging a class/job unless you have it at 60, or at least 50.. A lot of these pre-50 judgments are a little harsh.

Some classes were just horrible in their skill progression during leveling. Although I am a little biased as I had everything at 50 upon 2.0 launch.

I will bite, regarding this thread though. DRK & BRD.

DRK - Main reasons is that their kit looked a lot more interesting than it actually turned out. Using a "buff" skill to buff your buffs? Yeah sounds all good on face value but doesn't work out that well.
BRD - I didn't like the fact that BRD used to be able to dance around and do whatever they wanted in 2.xx and still deal damage, on top of that they could do this at range... However WM is clunky and the implementation of it doesn't suit the class's skillset. Having a large core of your damage being based on off-GCD resets on a class that has a sticky casting mechanic feels awkward. On top of that, they have a billion off-GCD buffs they need to pop.. I am by no means against lowering the mobility of 2.xx BRD (perhaps by a reducing movement to walking pace while shooting arrows) or something similar, but the cast bar just doesn't mesh with their abilities too well at all.
