Monk. I think I mostly just hate punching stuff, though I also dislike positionals as a game mechanic.
That said, I also really dislike Warrior and Machinist. Every time I go to level any of these 3 jobs, I get bored within ~20 minutes.

All Crafter & Gatherer classes. Just boring as Hell! Battle wise, any Mage class, especially healers. I just want to kill things, pure and simple. Anything with casting sucks.

BRD or PLD. they are both rather...bland, though they seem a little bit more fun at 60 (haven't capped them yet)
as for non combat classes....fsh...yawn. and LTW...getting those skins with 5% drop rate, like seriously? the poachers must be hyperactive.

if I had to choose it would be a toss between SMN/SCH & DRK, SMN/SCH cause of pet micro-management & DRK cause even thou I lv'd it 60 I just don't like its heavy focus on MP management (I got enouf to worry about as a Tank, arrgo control, adds spawning, mechanics, AoE's, which way their facing, were my team is, Def CD rotation, reaction/memory to/of whats next from boss... so glad I'm using the "Boring Tank" PLD & that I hated 1 move sound on WAR that kept me from lving it)

SCH. The fairy is unreliable and needs macros to work properly, SCH has crappy aoe healing outside of cooldowns and the shields are unpredictable. I just don't find it comfortable to heal with in any way and on top of this it has the most unthreatening weapon type in the game. If it wasn't for SMN I still would not have leveled SCH to max. The runner up is MCH. Unpredictable, low damage, no damage support, lame animations and you have to keep summoning the turret in dungeons. At least BRD is fun at level 50.

This happened with me too. Loved it up until Gauss Barrel, and now I hate it and never bothered leveling it past 52.Machinst. I got it to level 52 and was feeling okay about it, damage seems decent but then you equip Gauss Barrel and it feels like the entire job slows down back to a crawl again like when you first start out at level 30. So I have basically thrown that away and moved back to level Dragoon. Don't plan on leveling bard either cus I know its more of the same.
Also PUG/MNK. I was forced to level PUG to 15 for a different job, and hated every minute of it. I probably will never get the achievement due to a complete lack of motivation to ever touch PUG/MNK again.

SMN. Something about it clicked with me in AAR but after 3.0, it just didn't feel right for me any more.
MCH has now replaced in my heart the previous love I had for SMN, lol.
You are so right I just got my Dragoon to 50 wanted that fire jump so bad, got it and takes so long to pop again. That disappointed me.Probably fisherman. Slow and boring, and it requires at least twice as much inventory space as other classes. It wouldn't be so bad if they went the Runescape route and just let you automatically catch fish until you run out of inventory space, but no. I have to sit there and babysit the whole process.
As far as combat goes, definitely dragoon. 20 levels of just Impulse Drive, and then to find out that all the cool jump moves that made me want to try the class in the 1st place are all on long cooldowns. Well, that's time I'll never get back.

Any healer class. Healing is scary
