Can you teach me how to Warrior?

So I've been level paladin for a couple of days, but couldn't help branching out to the other tank jobs. I played Drk to 45, but got tired of the job, so now I want to try out War. Does anyone have any advice on Warrior like: Single rotation, aoe rotation, preparing for a pull, etc. It would be most appreciated. Or should I just follow this?

    That flowchart is win.

I just got Awareness (yesterday morning), so now I don't have to be scared to use Raw Intuition, but... all I can really say is... Go with what feels right.

...That flowchart is a nice guide, though.

This is beautiful. I shall now level my Warrior the rest of the way to 60, specifically so that I can use this flowchart.

I'm not quite sure if i should take this chart serious. It looks too funny to be serious, but it still seems reasonable X.x
Anyway whoever did it: good job Made me smile.

That flowchart is the greatest thing I've ever seen.

That flowchart is very bad and from 2.0. Don't follow it.

General use MT opener @ 50:
    http://ffxivrotations.com/4wz

@ 54 you can switch to Deliverance right before Fracture and use Fell Cleave instead as long as you compensate your lack of tank stance with defensive CDs. Remove either Fracture or Storm's Eye if >490 Skill Speed as you won't be able to hit the 9 GCDs under Berserk with less than that, and might need more depending on ping. After this opener you can either alternate between Eye and Path (+10% mitigation) or Eye and Butcher's Block (more damage and aggro). Generally you want to go for BB as the mitigation from Path isn't significant enough to matter unless used on big hits (cleaves, AOEs, etc). Unchained is your best use of Wrath in a non-mitigation scenario, IB is your all-arounder (damage, mitigation, healing) which you'll be using a lot, and Steel Cyclone is your AOE (if you don't need the mitigation it's higher potency than IB on 2 or more targets and also has the bonus effect of increased enmity). In Deliverance you have Fell Cleave which is your nuke (500 potency s0 g00d), and Decimate which is your AOE nuke (stronger than Steel Cyclone). In Defiance Wrath stacks will give you increased Parry (this isn't really worth noting as the mitigation/damage from using your abilities is far better than the Parry you gain from the stacks) and Deliverance Abandon stacks will give you increased Crit (mainly notable for situations where you can use abilities that don't generate Abandon to increase their crit rate before using the stacks, as an example @5 Abandon you can use Fracture -> HS -> Fell Cleave which will give you more crit chance on Fracture ticks and HS as opposed to just using Fell Cleave whenever it shows up (this only applies to if you have 5 stacks and you just ended a combo, don't stop mid-combo to do this)). But that's kind of delving into advance stuff, so just know that you wanna use your Wrath/Abandon abilities as they are 2 good.

    OT opener @ 54:
    http://ffxivrotations.com/4x0

Again requires 490+ SkS, a general rule of thumb is to use Berserk and IR as soon as you can afford to after you've gained Maim's buff. Brutal Swing after the first HS is so you'll have it back up within your Berserk (using Brutal after Eye will push the 2nd out of the Berserk window and puts it on cooldown later). As OT, use Fracture whenever it's just about to fall off or has already fallen off, this can be applied to MT as well but it's slightly more advanced depending on when you need what.

For AOE stuff I can't really give you a general-use rotation as it'll change from pull to pull. Generally I plan on using one big CD per pull, but only if I'm pulling half the room. Vengeance + Bloodbath + Unchained + IR & Berserk / Thrill + Convo + Foresight + Awareness. I personally recommend against using Raw Intuition in an AOE situation simply because it lines up funky with Awareness and you can easily risk being back-to-back crit. It can be done, I just would recommend against the headache. Aside from CDs, just spam Overpower to your heart's content. Steel Cyclone is also really good here as it'll save you TP and do more damage/enmity than Overpower. IB is also good if you run out of CDs and need one. Unchained + IR & Berserk + Bloodbath + Vengeance basically makes you an unkillable machine of death, so use that combo wisely.

There's more I could explain but that's the basics. I might make an easy to understand flow chart at some point as I get kinda long winded with my explanations but there's just a lot to know that will help you a lot as WAR. I'd recommend just jumping into it and figuring out what works best for you.

    Needs more Fell Cleave!

Serious Response: That's not the best guide to follow. You will want to look into Xeno's Warrior Tanking Guide for a more up to date guide. I'm not sure if he edited to reflect the VIT>STR meta change yet, but otherwise it is one of the best guides out there for Warriors.
