Shatotto's Meteor

Skimming the forums I haven't found any concrete info about the meteor Shatotto summoned back in the day that she forged Stardust Rods out of. Is there any reference or info ingame at all about the kind of impact this would have had back then other than the BLM relic quest? My impression is summoning a meteor would be at least be a stepping stone to causing a Calamity. Are there any zones that reflect the kind of damage this would have done? Or are we just supposed to assume it's like limit break 3 meteor, in that it's impressive but doesn't seem to have any lasting effects on the world? I suppose this was the height of the mage wars so meteor summoning may just have been another drop in the bucket of ultimate magics being flung around back then.

Shatotto lived at the beginning of the Fifth Astral Era, so probably no worries about region-shattering war efforts. The meteor magicks just owed to her being a) devoted to developing destructive arts and b) prone to fits of boredom. I wouldn't imagine they were that big; something in the ballpark of Allag Starfall Machine and Limit Break 3, maybe? As far as we know, she just called down a big hunk of dark matter from ... wherever dark matter comes from. I think the relic quest is the main (only?) source of the Shatotto-Meteor specifics, but here's a slightly re-worded version used in the PR preview:

All in the Order of Nald’thal know well the legend of Shatotto, a mighty thaumaturge from the fifth of Astral Eras. Her creation of destructive and catastrophic spells evoked as much fear as it did respect, prompting ignorant souls to call her unsavory names—Death’s Handmaiden, the Black Witch, and the She-Devil among them. She was also possessed of an otherworldly talent for crafting thaumaturgical staves. Among her creations, the Stardust Rods are by far the most powerful and coveted, believed as they are to be fashioned from the celestial remnants of a star Shatotto herself brought down to Hydaelyn and clove asunder.
