Being recognized in game from the Forums

I got recognized from my posts on the FFXIV reddit forum.

I've been recognized by someone whom with I frequently fought with on the Tank forum.
After I don't know how many topics where we were at each other's throat...we added the other as friend

Yep, ran into Saseal once in A1 back in the days xD Here was our exchange on the horror story thread on the healer forum after it happened.

Horror story - Had an soft enrage on Faust on A1 earlier today due to low DPS. It cleaved the tank, then it cleaved five other people in the party before dying. At least we cleared Oppressor without too much hitch.

Anti-Horror Story - Ran into Saseal in A1 PF and the healing was GLORIOUS.

Not really a horror story, but more of a "O_O OHSHITI-.....;o; ......noooooo..... OTL I was too late...."

When you end up in a DF (A1) with someone you recognize from the forums and you're too busy looking at them and thinking "Waaaait is that? o.o wait I think it is o_o :0 *Amaze*", but you didn't want to be all creeper-like and derp...... and during that, you don't notice them addressing you. ;-;

In SUPER delayed response: Yes, thats me haunting in the healer forums. xD I sorry! ;-; Was good to healer-buddy up with a face I recognized, Ghishlain xD MUCH GLORYS +_+

Otherwise, that's the only incident I can recall xD I've run into plenty of my old XI friends who play on Balmung in DF though.

I don't think I've run into anyone from the forums, but I have run into a few people on the forums I had seen in-game first.

Ran into Anony Moose a couple of times in Front lines a couple months back, as well as someone elsefrom the tank forums. I might have been... A bit too giddy when I recognized him. XD Spent the entire match spamming /pet at the Moose.

Don't think I've ever been recognized in game though, thankfully. That'd be awkward.

I get recognized actually about once a day, more often it is people who know me from tumblr though. c: It's really nice, I love meeting people and chatting with them. ^.^ Everyone is so sweet, it puts a smile on my face.

People have actually started to recognize my boyfriend now too. I'm not too sure how he feels about it, but he smiles when he tells me so I think that's a good sign. c;

If someone has noticed me from the forums they haven't said anything. However in Dofus where I came from I felt like a celebrity from time to time because it felt like everyone in the game knew me from the forums.
