Has it now been 7 years since the Calamity?

How long has it been since the Calamity happened as of patch 3.2?

We know that at the beginning of ARR it's been five years, but since then we have celebrated The Rising twice, which would mean it's been two years since the Calamity, right?

Or, has it been longer than that and the event's between 2.1 and 3.0 took up for than a years time?

This one should get it's own stickied FAQ.

It's been roughly 5 years since the Calamity. No matter how much actual time passes, how many seasonal events go by, or how much relative time is mentioned passing in individual quests in a chain, the in-game time passed relative to the Seventh Umbral Calamity is still only 5 years and change.

TL;DR on the massive time bubble explanations, Holiday events are meta-canon. The Rising celebrates how much real world time has passed since the real game was reborn - Yoshida just does it "in character" as the Wandering Minstrel.

Here's another way to look at this perennial question: Time dilation — or some Final Fantasy version of it — is now officially a thing in Eorzea, thanks to the shenanigans of the Illuminati goblins inside Alexander.

In other words, the passage of space-time is, in fact, relative! Two years may have indeed passed by since your character first met Jalzhan in Hyrstmill, but thanks to mysterious effects of the Echo, time for all the other parts of Eorzea that your character doesn't directly perceive is effectively moving sooooooooo slooooooowliiiiiieee thaaaat, as far as you the player is concerned, it hasn't moved at all!

Just joking! But hey, that's my tip for resolving the bubble versus apparent passage of time paradox your character experiences in-game.
