Sometimes I like to troll... Just saying...
I know it sounds like I am bitching but I can only handle a few runs of the feast. I am not ranked but I use to be before it reset me for the season then I just got fed up from that work and stopped doing it because I remember why I stopped. I can only heal because I get impatient on DPS ques and the moment I switch to a healer it's an insta-que. That is the first flag, not a lot of people like healing it because elitist and die hard PVPers put a lot of hate and pressure on the healers. I would run into great parties that would actually stick around me because they know my heals cannot reach them on the other side of the wall but when the time comes that people will swarm me and I die and then the party dies it all the sudden becomes my fault we lost after the party has understood the fact that attacking the healer wins but I get no help but all the blame. I spend my time and energy healing the party members but when I get swarmed I have to heal myself or I die. (c)
It's pretty unfair of just how much toxic hate healers get for one slip up. I understand, one mistake can cost a game. I have only a few seconds for crowd control if the party is doing well keeping themselves a live but when it comes to attacking me, I put more energy into keeping myself alive than just the party because if I die, then the party dies.
It's such a buzz kill and I wish all i could do is Tank/DPS it but it just isn't fair why healers get the hate for everything.
And I used to love healing in PVP. I think it was just because I took a rest between the season and pre-season that I have like...lost my kick? I was so good. Managed to make it to bronze after I figured out that I ranked up only in 4v4 (after mindlessly doing 8v8 forever). It's almost like I'm scared of it XD that sounds bad I know but it just seems kinda that way. I heal Raids and dungeons and everything. Pretty much to the point of almost calling my WHM my main class rather than my Dragoon. It's just really will breaking to even care if all the healer gets is hate from everyone cause "It's always the healers fault" "Shit healer" and other stuff. I just give them an insulting "You're welcome :3" when they want to call me out and then i just go back to crafting :/
Why I can't play feast ranked with one of my friend?
this is my only problem + after I started to play I won 6 match in a row, after lost games which was a stomp, so its a bf rng at this point :/
I know I'm not a hardcore FF player who is into very high level PVE, or PVP content, but now I'm forced to do PVE, because there are no PVP fun for me at this point.

You can play with friends, just 3 other friends in party ranked. Playing with a friend in SOLO que defeats the purpose of SOLO que.Why I can't play feast ranked with one of my friend?

I really wish they'd set up a series of categories, then go down all the Jobs and assign them a value in those categories. For example, and I'll keep this really basic; Damage, Utility, Healing. Then you've got Paladin, with moderate damage, high utility and moderate healing capabilities, and Black Mage with high damage and utility, but no healing...
Then you match based on that. You balance out both parties based on what the Jobs they have can do, rather than slapping together any old Jobs and calling that balanced... Pairing up a Paladin and a Black Mage obviously gives you a helluva lot of utility, so either you pair them against each other, or you have the opposing team set up so they're either equal or can compensate for it with something else... A few other things they could do, like MP use, Dark Knight and Scholar tend to benefit a lot from a Bard or Machinist, for example.
Obviously three categories is incredibly basic, utility alone you can split into mitigation, offense and crowd control... I'd be much happier with a matchmaking system like this though, plus it would force SE to look hard at each Job, which would hopefully mean they seriously balance them...

4 v 4 Party que is the remedy to this problem.
Otherwise there is no actual solution.
There are varying levels of skill throughout the ranks; bronze that can outshine gold, jobs/skillsets that just aren't compatible.
I was able to garner equal amounts of insults and compliments from players from silver-platinum range as a bronze healer.
This will be especially true in post season and season 2 when you have experienced players without showcased rank.
By participating in solo-que, you are voluntaringly accepting the possibility that you will be paired with 3 less-capable players. There is no entitlement.
You are paired with randoms and your only controlled contribution is your own performance, strategy, and ability to lead or advise other players.
(However, knowing full well that the other players may not be receptive at all to your coaching, and/or not understand your language.)

As a healer, more so than other roles, I feel that I am at the mercy for wins based on my team's ability. If not a problem with damage, then it's a problem
with strategy or survivability. All too often people isolate themselves too far away from range of heals, or they get tunnel vision.. risking the loss of 75 medals
in hopes of securing a kill to gain 25.
