    Which is why the devs are possibly considering the negative effects to the DF if SAM is a dps instead of a tank.

    It can easily be stated the possible effect of your Tank population leaving to level a DPS class would also be a negative. You only need to recall the roving NIN F.A.T.E parties scouring the maps as to what happens when a DPS job is front and center of a content patch. The DF ques don't lie, there were a sever shortage of tanks then...
