Improve FC Housing Situation

I'm not happy about how FC housing is handled at the current point in this game. I made an FC with friends and by the time I funded the house for our FC everything was fine between us. One person received a Master rank while having equal leading rights. The master was hardly ever present and when returning accused me of trying to take his job. While he had been gone I had recruited a lot of members, put a lot of money in housing and airships and was seen as leader.

The master decided to put his own wants over the FC and removed me and anyone associated with me, refused to listen to the members who wanted to keep me as the leader. Everyone left.

They took all our work and there is no way I can get my house back now. Which is extremely flawed. Please change it so the person who purchases a house keeps it when kicked. Because while people will say "but you donated it to the fc" I never meant to provide a house to an FC where powers get abused and people kicked when innocent.

Your situation is unfortunate, but I don't think the system needs to conform to fit it. The house belongs to the FC, regardless of who put the money forward to it. Should the system be changed to give the house to you, it would become a personal house. You'd lose the airships and anyone else that put anything into the house would lose access to the house as well as anything they put into it, which would be a complete mess. You have a social problem and unfortunately you put your trust (and gil) in the hands of someone that you shouldn't have. Learn from the experience and move forward from it stronger and wiser.

The problem here is that the FC the house was bought for is not one person and his gang of people who disregard the rest of the members, kick them and insult them and act like they did all the work when they never showed up. It is something to learn from, however this is also not the first time hard working people have been robbed off their work. It's a simply flawed system. It's a really heavy form of harassment to take an FC from people out of spite and yet there is nothing GMs can do. This should be improved. Right now there is nothing I can do about it. But for the future I simply think a house should not be given to a person that has not put a single gil into

Honestly I feel bad for your situation but that's how FC housing works. 1 person is the lead and has master power. Just have to find people you trust.

I'm really sorry for your situation, but your proposed solution is also open to abuse.
With larger Companies it's very unusual for one person to pay for the entire house. Our FC house was paid for by donations from pretty much the whole membership. In the end, I was the one who made the purchase but since other people put gil into it as well, there is no way that house should ever become my private property.

It was generous of you to pay for your FC house and you obviously put a lot of effort into making the company a success, sadly you put your trust in the wrong person when you chose your leader (if you aren't leading a company, it sounds like you should be).
Your situation stinks, but the only thing you can do is learn from it and move on.

Everyone keeps saying it's on you, but I really don't feel that way. In my opinion, it's on that jerk. He brought you into leadership for a reason, when he saw you were doing better in his absence, he threw a fit.

I'm so sorry that you lost the house you worked so hard to obtain. However, you bought the house as an FC house, so it should stay with the FC. If they changed the system to where if you got booted but made the official purchase and it went back to you, it would be chaos. I can see the schemes now, solo players having their own personal airships, further disrupting the housing economy of personal vs FC.

Again, I'm sorry that you lost all of it. I think you should scoop up the others that were kicked with you and start a new FC. Maybe take a siesta or two. I hope it gets better for you!
