So I know mch is getting the option to hide gauss barrel next patch, but has SE ever mentioned adding a better animation for wildfire? Kinda sucks that our hardest hitting ability has nothing to show for itself.

I don't think they will change any current animation never.
I hope they change the cast animation for when Gauss Barrel is equipped
Still hoping they'll give us a 2 handed rifle someday but i doubt they would make new animations for most of the skills

I'd be more interested in having the guns themselves animate.
Some of the lower level options actually move the hammer when you have a reloading animation (such as Slug Shot, not Reload), whereas many other weapons simply are a static form and don't have any articulation to them.

Many of the lv60 guns have the reload animation (Bismarck, Esoteric, Thordan, forget about Sephirot but it's already got a special animation) The cylinder on the Relic does a rotation for Slug Shot among other things. Dreadwyrm also does the silly barrel roll when unsheathed. And many guns don't because they're designed more like carbines rather than revolvers. The animation variety is fine to me.
But yeah pls, huge explosion for wildfire.
