But it's not everyone's "development resources and money", it's SE's. And they chose to do this.SE should put gender unlocked items in the cash shop. It's not fair for a vocal minority to convince SE to use everyone's development resources and money on gender neutral outfits that very few people want. However I think it's fine as long as the people who want the outfits pay extra to help cover the development costs.
All of you that want this better go buy all the new cash shop items so they have more money to inspired them to do it quicker.
I personally feel like the term "Cross Dressing" is derogatory and an insult to actual transgender players who get ridiculed in real life because they identify with an opposite birth gender. I don't consider a Transgender "Cross Dressing" because that's who they are. ON a real scope Transgenders don't want to be looked at as "Men in women's clothing" or "Women in men's clothing" they want to be seen for who they really are, nothing more.
I'm agitated the OP used such a rotten title for shock value to get attention which doesn't convey the underlying issue and that is we want better gender-less options. When people post ignorant stuff like "I wanna Cross dress" and use the LBGT community as a crutch it's an insult to them and any true advocates. Because again that girl in the dress is just that a girl, not homosexual, and darn sure not cross dressing.
Cross dressing is an act used for comedic purposes not to make a statement. So when you say that you're conveying to SE that you wanna wear a dress because it's funny to you. OP posts like this are the reason they skirt around the issue (No pun intended).
TLDR; So if you plan to truly strip gender from clothing start by removing words like "Cross Dressing" from your vocabulary. LEARN WORDS.

I don't support this thread because it's demanding, however just because it's something you personally don't want, doesn't mean it shouldn't be a priority. Everyone enjoys different aspects of the game. Many role play, and many play primarily for playing with their character and glamouring. They also pay the same subscription as those who raid and prefer to gear their character. Neither is more important than the other.SE should put gender unlocked items in the cash shop. It's not fair for a vocal minority to convince SE to use everyone's development resources and money on gender neutral outfits that very few people want. However I think it's fine as long as the people who want the outfits pay extra to help cover the development costs.
People who are Transgender want to be seen as the gender they identify with. Why would they create a male character and then dress in female clothing if they want to be identified as a female? This isn't real life, if a Transgender female wanted to portray themselves on Final Fantasy I'm sure they would just create a female character. Why would they create a male and wear a skirt if they identify as a female?
The OP used the correct wording. I appreciate you are trying to support Transgender people but you've got it all backwards. A male who identifies with a man and wears a dress is cross dressing and this goes for characters. A born male who identities with a female is Transgender and isn't cross dressing.
Also, the words "cross-dressing" have no negativity tied to them whatsoever and the defenition is literally "to wear clothing typical of the opposite sex."

I am perfectly ok with some items remaining gender locked. I am even ok with the idea of Race locked gear. So long as they are locked for a reason. Like the female bathing suits should remain gender locked as males have their own sets. Race locked gear would be nice to have as long as every race/gender gets its set at the same time. Race locked gear, however, should complement the aesthetics of that race, like the starting sets. Gender locked it alright so long as no imbalance is made because of it. Gender locked gear must also serve some kind of purpose rather than being arbitrary. Items like the bunny ears really don't make sense as to why they are gender locked. Granted, the whole set is gender locked, but that did not stop SE with the 3.25 update remove gender locks from some the expeditors set.
Side note: the argument that this will take a significant amount of resources to make items available to males as already been dealt with by SE. they plan to implement the items over timer so its more of a side operation as to not impair the production of other priority tasks.
That was the point I was going for which is why I said this "Cross dressing is an act used for comedic purposes not to make a statement. So when you say that you're conveying to SE that you wanna wear a dress because it's funny to you. OP posts like this are the reason they skirt around the issue."
If you don't understand that is why SE won't take it seriously and they haven't is because of OP like this. Secondly some people are using Real life issues to back up their reasoning for Gender-less options which is why is I made my comment.
The fact still remains from my first post this topic needs to be handled better. One post you got a group asking for Gender Equality then you have one group just making a fuss because they wanna be wear a dress which this post is the latter.
We need to be consistent in our approach either ask for gender equality properly or make threads whining about cross dressing and see how much longer they drag it out.

And thats pretty much where you start being wrong by imposing feelings on others language
But really I got no idea what you are rambling about, I assume neither do you since this has nothing to do with "removing gender" just gender locked clothing, nor did my op mention anything about lgbt at all, that parts in your head, I used crossdressing as dressing in clothing from that across from your characters biological sex is kinda what people want
Also unless you want to come out as openly trans in the thread please stop speaking for them and what they are probably not offended by as it literally has 0 to do with trans or lgbt as most crossdressers are straight, thanks
