That should be said to those asking for the crossdressing. Japan is still in the process of accepting such things, and while they have anime and such with crossdressers, they are usually of a humourous nature. The one crossdressing moment within this game itself was for humour purposes. It took alot for them to even have same-sex marriages put into this game, and to allow gambling. It could be years before they allow crossdressing to be a norm for their people, if ever in the life-span of the game.

exactly... se listen to the fanbase way to much imo if wanna wear girls clothes change to a female and vice versa problem solved... ppl who say suck it up always the 1st to complain about almost everything lol
i always just laugh when see people with male toons complainin they cant wear bunny outfits etc etc... so many people whinge n whine about wanting more content yet instead of just changin genders they scream for gender locks to be lifted... all the time n resources put into changin that could be put into somethin much more worthwhile imo

Well yeah if there is enough demand for certain pieces gear they will do it and so far after said announcement I don't see much demand for this anymore lol. I expected more likes but guess I was wrong.

During the PAX persentation, Yoshi P said that gender locked gear will gradually be made accessible for both genders and the Devs wanted players to list what items they want prioritized first in the forums (preferable in one thread).
Uniqueness should come from the use and combination of items, not the limitation of their use.

Because it's been the norm, it shouldn't be gradually introduced? Males already can dye their clothes pink and the Spring Skirt is unisex, among other things. There's also means for males to dress scantily clad as well with the Coliseum gear, so naturally it'd progress into crossdressing thereafter as time goes on.
Since they allow us to have same-sex marriage in the game, crossdressing is easily something that could follow next. It's all a matter of time.
Any arguments people have against it really aren't up to snuff, as there is this one distinguishing fact: How someone customizes and dresses their character does not effect yours whatsoever. For instance, I find Miqo'te to be eyesores because the eyes disturb me but I don't say anything about it, I just deal with it and move on because who am I to say how a person wants to present their character because "IT'S NOT WHAT I WOULD WANT BAWWW~"
