    There must be something on the back end that is EXTREMELY broken with this, some kind of spaghetti code that makes it really hard to sort out. I can't imagine them not fixing it by now otherwise. We've gotten a dozen dev/rep responses saying "It's coming but it's not very close, we're sorry!"

    Tell us why? Please? What's going on over there and why the hell can't I kick people who've quit?

    I guess we can just speculate wildly until bad rumours do irreparable damage to the company...

    I think there are two potential reasons.

    The first, like you say, that whoever designed the network/server structure made it up as they went along (without any clear idea of what was actually needed).

    The second possibility is that all personnel are busy working on the new server and can't be bothered to patch the old servers since it's an excercise in futility anyway, considering that (according to this forum) 80% are happy to pay for this game with or without this basic feature.

    Edit: Oh and apparently the third possibility is it's coming in 1.20?
