    I understand it would take longer to create patches, but would it be worth it to increase bosses per tier count to, say, 6 bosses for a 7/8 month tier cycle?
    Tiers are already on a 7 month cycle. If it worked directly proportionally (I have no idea if it does) it would be 6 bosses on a 10.5/12 month cycle.

    As for fight length that probably has more to do with allowance for timing of CDs, pacing mechanics and having variety in an encounter. Brute Justice would be an easier fight if you only had to deal with his 50% of his mechanics in a single fight.

    SE has said they would like to do more but currently don't have the staff. The good news is they are actively hiring more content creators. Yoshi P is on record as having said that he would have liked to have three teirs of difficulty but lacks the people to make it a reality.
