Actually, I'm in favor of shorter encounters that build up to a major, multi-phase encounter over just strait up tossing people into a meat grinder and hoping that everyone is on the same page for all phases of a fight. Right now in order to learn phase 3 of a fight everyone has to have done phase 1 and 2. If they broke encounter design up to have mini-bosses first that all use encounter mechanics found in the progressive phases of the final boss, people could conquer the separate phases at their own pace, and when they finally reach the last encounter they would have HAD to go through each individual phase of the fight. The mini-bosses would likely just give tokens or something towards vendor purchased gear while the last boss has the actual loot table of items.

Isn't that more a worry about falling asleep?

Which has been the same answer we have gotten since 2.whatever. They have promised this and that each patch cycle yet we get less of that and hardly any of this. It really doesn't take much to hire people to work on content creation especially when it's for a game that was a huge hit on release, the fact they haven't is either; A. SE is a horribly managed company or B. The game really isn't doing so good or C. They don't have the time or resources to train anyone.

In any case had we gotten any type of player created content mode we'd be in a much better area with various different levels of game play.
