Can we fix PvP queues?

Why is it that silvers can still get paired with people that have never even touched pvp before? Seems pretty flawed for me. Especially when 1 person can literally drag down your team. Maybe it's because i play healer and those are in high demand or it just because no one is playing on primal? Also is it just me or do you lose wayyy more points in one of these said games than people of your same rating or higher? This isn't just about higher level players too. Those new players will have a very hard time learning or getting anywhere and will ultimately quit. hell there's a already a few thread of higher tier players wanting to quit. Square Enix definitely needs to fix something to make pvp approachable and be able to retain the players it currently has. I love pvp in this game and i honestly thought the queue problems would go away once they added in the tiered matchmaking system. How wrong i was.

I'm gold, and as a healer I can sit in queue for 10+ minutes. On melee, it can be 15+ minutes.

I've a platinum friend who won't ever get queues, even for 3+ hours.

I would still choose to sit on my rank unable to play in any matches due to lack of players at my level than play matches getting routinely stuck with rankless new players. Not sure how he cant get in matches though all the data centers have at least 100 silver+ ranked players at this point. Wouldnt he be drawn into a Silver/Gold/Platinum drawing?

Yeah but the queues just prioritize fast queues, so Silver+Gold players will get into several matches with Bronze players before the queue will put them all together in a queue with the Platinum.

Huh strange, when I was gold, I would get paired with Bronzes so that the teams would be "equal", and it always instapopped. I.e, Full silver team vs 1 gold and 2-3 bronzes. Not very fun to say the least for the gold, there's quite a skill gap between Bronzes and Silvers.
