No thanks the text abuse is enough right now there is team speak and ps4 chat anyway
I use it for people I know if they're interested as it aids in coordinating small things that are both hard to keep an eye on and hard to type (also, it builds closeness imo to know others by their voice as well).
I wouldn't use an in-game one for things like solo queue (which has been brought up before) for several reasons, all of which boil down to the fact that text is unpleasant enough.

You pretty much hit my opinion on the head; Dumbledore too.I use it for people I know if they're interested as it aids in coordinating small things that are both hard to keep an eye on and hard to type (also, it builds closeness imo to know others by their voice as well).

We'll never get it, even though I would like it. As someone who commands my team with a series of macros, it would sure make my life easier. However, you'd have the same problems regardless. Retards won't listen, bads will continue sucking, and then the flaming will begin.
Chat is fine, because we have macros. The bigger issue is that idiots can't seem to read.
I lay out a strategy in a question format at the start of the match, which I thought worked pretty well until my last match that is. We had a ninja using macros as your describing , and I have to say I am sold on that style completely. I wouldn't mind an optional voice chat , but yeah it probably would never see use. We'll never get it, even though I would like it. There's nothing stopping you from using external programs to handle voice chat if you're playing with friends.
As for voice chat in random matchmade parties, that would have to be handled by an opt-in setting at the very least. I don't see good things happening if it's on by default, and there's no guarantee the person giving instructions 1. knows what they're talking about, and 2. knows how to communicate instructions in a civil manner.
*sees the random flames in text chat*
*imagines the same for voice*
Yep.
