    Skill Delay Prior to Patch 1.19

    Before patch we are able to que up our skills, meaning pressing a skill immediately can press after the next. Now in 1.19 you have to completely wait until the full animation is done on that skill to activate the next skill. It got like 3 seconds lag between them and I find myself pressing the next skill repeatedly 5 - 10 times before it activate and go to the next. I felt it was slow and lag. I thought previously it was faster, now we have something like animation lock where the animation must fully finish before activate the next skill and buff. I find myself cripple a lot like this in a lot of boss fight. Any chance to optimize it for the better?

    I am not experiencing what you are. I can use my skills overlapping eachother. I barely have time to start the animation before I hit the next

    Try Buffing up with Gladiator skills, I have ton of Buff skill from all other class such as Puglist, Lancer, Marauder. You be lock into the animation and cannot execute the next buff until it completely done with the animation.

    I get the same problem, as well as a lot of other players I know. Ifrit usually begins like this:

    Autoattack
    Mash Invigorate II ~7 times
    Mash Pierce ~18 times
    Mash Heavy Thrust ~22 times
    Mash Full Thrust ~15 times
    Buff macro
    Mash Doomspike II ~4 times
    etc.

    It's probably related to the same server lag that surrounds people dying in plumes even though they appear to be safe on their own screens. SE really really needs to work on this, but for whatever reason, according to a recent interview Yoshida and Sage weren't completely aware of the problem. If you get an issue like this please report it to support.
