Monster Hunter Crossover!!!

Besides FF a series that I absolutely fell in love with was Monster Hunter, and I've been wanting to fight some of the iconic monsters in 14. Tigrex,Yian Garuga, Zinogre, and Gore Magala come to mind.
Monster Hunter also has some of the most bad ass looking gear possible and if we could even get gear sets inspired by them like:

NIN:

I love Monster Hunters XD haven't play since Zinogre first apparance. I'm in love with Zinogre Blademaster set , not to mention its longsword !

Once upon a time I would have scoffed at such an idea and written it off as, "you have a better chance of seeing pigs fly" than seeing such a crossover event in FFXIV. Well, my piggybank just up and leaped off my shelf now and flew out the window since SE negotiated with Sega to run a FFXIV/Phantasy Star Online 2 event in Japan (Odin appears in PSO2 and they're currently working on bringing a PSO2 themed event into FFXIV).

So anything is really possible now I guess (given Monster Hunter's apparent popularity in Japan especially I would not be surprised if SE did something for it eventually.)

But who knows what the future holds.

Im glad this is catching on now!

So for the fates I'm thinking to make it like a Monster Hunter like
they spawn like Hunts.

Let's take the Yian Garuga for example:

- It spawns in South Shroud
Attacking from the Rear,Flank,Front has a chance of breaking off items used for rewards. (i.e. Garuga Scale, Flame sac etc) and increases damage taken from that area.

Also the amount of damage dealt from let's say the right side can stagger it or make it fall over and gain a Vulnerability debuff until it gets up.

After time passes it'll fly to a different area North Shroud

Pretty much the same deal but it can become enraged and attacks will become more powerful cleaves.

And why not throw in a Frenzied mode.

The quest giver could sell things like pitfall traps paintballs or generally things that help you track things down.
