How do I unlock Midas Savage?

So I'm trying to unlock Midas savage, and I read that I don't need to clear A4S, just midas nm, which I've done. It also says that the quest is from the wandering minstrel, but when I checked, he didn't have any more quests available. Am I missing any other requirements that I have to complete before the quest shows up from the wandering minstrel?

Have you completed the quest "A Gob in the Machine"? It's the quest you get after clearing Midas normal.

"A Gob in the Machine" is in my journal and it looks like it was completed. I definitely remember the cutscenes about the time reversal in Midas. I also just tried talking to Lightkix Eyesfixed, who is at (X 20, Y 26) in the Hinterlands, right next to the entrance to Midas. It looks like he gives the options to enter Savage with different loot rules, but choosing any of them just tells me that I obviously need a party of 8.

He also mentions that I need to complete the quest, "A Refrain for the Undaunted" but I don't see it in my journal, and the Wandering Minstrel doesn't have any quests. Alys, the npc next to the Wandering Minstrel, does have a quest that I haven't done, however, "The Ultimate Ballad." I know that it was required for Gordias savage, but i read that it is no longer needed as of the 3.2 patch. Am I wrong and I still need to complete this quest to get "A Refrain for the Undaunted" to show up?

Pretty sure you can't ask about entering savage at all until you have unlocked it.

Edit: just checked it. He doesn't give any options related to savage until you've completed "A Refrain for the Undaunted" He's not saying YOU need to complete it to access savage. He's saying that you need to be in a party of 8, where everyone has completed it.

Ah, ok. That makes sense. I guess I'll have to gather 7 people and see if it will allow me to enter. Thanks for the help.

Im having the same issue, wandering minstrel isnt giving me the quest either. Iv comepleted all the known requirements, gms wont help me. Not sure if its a bug or if i missed something, not knowing really sucks.
