    That's great. I have to admit one thing though, it's a great shame that the FF tactics games eluded me. The only FF games I managed to miss somehow.

    Very good questions!. He did disclose too much info on Primals Summoning! Hah!. And I hope Square-Enix sees the communication Yoshida is having with us is, in-part, what has made us believe in SE again and gladly pay fees for this game, besides the point that the game is really fun now ^^.

    Anyway, hope this engine allows Dragoon to have his Jump.

    Yeah I have to agree with you here, thumbs up, Yoshi is really pulling through, he is doing an awesome job as the producer/director

    I would be fine with a temporary jump with DSII animation and an evade buff until they release 2.0 as long as I can evade incoming damage and do high damage with it.

    Might be hard to balance DRG, glad to hear it has its own unique way of dealing damage though.

    If you can just combo attacks easily together and that's set to do relatively the most damage it'd be easy to overpower MNK and WAR.

    If it's too hard to pull off most DRG's will be weaker than the two other DD's on the other hand.

    It'll only be hard to those who can't do it properly depending on how the combo attack is...I REALLY...

    ...Really....

    Hate to use this as an example, but in MapleStory/Sea there's a class where you have to input button combos (kind of like a fighter) and your damage was purely based on your ability to chain combos.

    So if its anything like that, it'll be easy to balance because it's balance is in the mechanic itself.

    Yah I'm pretty interested in this Combo stuff Yoshida-san is talking about.

    It could possibly be like Sabin (Final Fantasy III (U.S. (SNES)) / VI (JP)) with multiple inputs, or I hope Yoshida-san is referring to the new Skillchain / Renkei / Regimen System that's replacing the Battle Regimen System, coming soon!

    Can't wait.

    Yeah or given how with FFXIII you can stack commands, something of that nature as well.

    The bit about the summoning system sounds interesting, Though i do hope they will tie in some lesser creatures that can be summoned more then once as well.

    From what was said it seems that the actual class of Summoner will be the one to summon lesser creatures to aid them while the Primals will remain as a sort of Shenron like entity of mass power but you can only use it once. I do wonder how they'll balance it out though cause I can see it being interesting how only one free company can have a pact with a Primal at a time but will they put in a 1 week limit to how long they can hold the pact for. If they allow a Free company to hold it indefinitely there will definitely be the potential issue of people holding a primal just cause they can.
