I am curious as to the OP's suggestions as to what would make a better battle system!

(I'm pretty sure the changes to class abilities, and then the Job system when it's added, are much more than 'tweaks' to the battle system, but then again I'm finally fairly happy with the battle system aside from tanking and crowd control being terrible at the moment, both of which things they've directly said 'we're going to be addressing this shortly'.)

I'm also curious what would make a better crafting system - it seems the OP actually likes the current system for HQs, but /practically nobody else does/, since there's still way too much RNG God involved - your actions to try and HQ something aren't actually that meaningful, there's a good chance you'll not HQ, and that's frustrating to people. I agree that the current crafting system even after 1.19 is a hot mess, and I don't -personally- have any bright ideas to fix it or make it more fun to play, which is why I've largely kept my mouth shut about it.

(And, just because someone has shown trollish tendencies in some of the posts they make doesn't make everything they ever say trollan'. It's okay to be relentlessly negative about crafting! Crafting sucks right now, it sucks a lot less than it did pre-1.9, but it still sucks. Does it ruin the game for me, no, I just switched my focus to DoL/DoM, but it's still not at a place where you could call it a proper first-order element of gameplay, I'm not sure it's even possible for it to get there, and there isn't a clear path to crafting -not- being terrible in 2.0. The battle system, however, I'm not sure what the OP's complaints are with it, exactly, so I don't know how to respond other than 'there -are- fairly major changes planned for before 2.0 even hits'.)
