Embrace is 300 potency and Rouse adds 40%. Add to that the fact that you can utilize skills like Fey Illumination and Whispering Dawn, meaning you can practically live in Cleric Stance even in big pulls if you use them along with buffs like e4e.

Embrace is 300 pet potency, which is equivalent to 200 player potency. Whispering Dawn and fey Illum are rarely needed in Expert, but I use them sometimes for sure. Shadowflare is another big one - but WHM has both E4E and Holy.
