Thanks for the amazing analysis of the dragons within this aspect, I am looking forward to hearing more about the missing dragons as the narrative progresses. "Heavensward" so far has held a much more interesting lore than "A Realm Reborn", and that is no doubt about the dragons that feature.

Shooting from the hip? I think they might get a name drop if things are foreshadowed far enough in advance ... but overall I don't expect to see them all that soon. It all depends on where we're headed and when. General feeling is that we're headed towards Ala Mhigo next, and it seems like a waste to have more Celestial Dragons spent on Eorzea. Are we going anywhere else in that expansion? Or are we waiting until 5.0+? My best guesses for the locations of the other two are Othard and/or (depending on how big it is) Thavnair, but who knows if and/or when we're headed in that direction.

I find it very interesting that Garlemald royal family's insignia is that of a dragon. <...> Surely, there are at least one Celestial dragon in Ilsabard or Othard?

I had a similar thought, though we did basically get confirmation that Garlemald uses dragons because, "Hey, yeah, dragons are totally kickass heraldic beasts." I feel like - between the topical relevance of the Battle of Silvertear Skies and the wars on Ilsabard - it would have come up if one was there... but it's definitely possible. We don't exactly get much water cooler chat with the Garleans.

They talked about 5 dragons so far. But we arent going to know about the 2 remaining on the expansion, maybe ( accorinding to them ) in orther expansions.

They may have said that in the past, I don't know, but it was addressed more recently in this thread with the following:

The remaining two dragons of the first brood are alive and well...but remain far removed from all the action in Eorzea. Where are they? Why are they there? Why are they not interested in the happenings in Eorzea with their kin? Why don't their kin in Eorzea mention them? All excellent questions...but unfortunately ones we cannot yet give you answers for, as their stories are being saved for future content. So, what does 'future' mean here? Well, I've spoken Oda-san, and I'm sorry to report that there are currently no plans to have either of the wyrms appear in the Heavensward (3.x) story-line. That isn't to say that they won't appear (you never know what Yoshi-P will bring to a future patch brainstorming session), but chances are decent that you won't be hearing about them for some time. However, you never know what sliver of foreshadowing you might find in the help text of an upcoming item or minion (just not in the help text of a 3.2 item or minion).

So, yeah. Probably nothing in 3.x.

Only 3 I believe were teased by Yoshida/PR: Tiamat, Nidhogg, and Hraesvelgr. I remember Ratatoskr being out of left field. We were told we'd learn more about Bahamut (and we did). I don't figure Bahamut or the other two will feature in the 3.X series.
