Woops, let me clarify; killed in the way that Ratatoskr was killed (i.e. her power was "consumed" by Haldrath and co., vs. Bahamut, who was just killed as far as we are aware).

But yeah, you're right, Bahamut was the first one killed. R was the first one killed specifically to obtain the power of her eyes however; I'm not sure if that's a distinction of importance or not, but my feeling is that it'll play a part yet in the story.

Which is why I have to ask any and all people that red A Song of Ice and Fire or watched Game of Thrones if they've read/heard any references to stars and if so in which context.
I do remember, in Dance of Dragons I think, some members of the Maester order in Oldtown discussing how certain things had changed, like how dragonglass (obsidian) was now burnable, described in the book as having a piece of dragonglass and using it as a candle. In one of the conversations they had, there was some mention of a celestial body, but it was rather brief iirc, and I can't remember any specifics on it. Just that the side characters involved seemed to think it had something to do with the re-emergence of dragons.

No but I just had the realization that they call it "dragon star" and XIV continually refers to Hydaelyn as a "star" in the planet-sense. I suppose that's another good check in the box for dragons possibly being ETs. (Tiamat's monologue is otherwise our only hint, but it was never enough to compel me to believe her story since she was an egg!)

EDIT: I also didn't notice myahele pointed out the same thing on the previous page.

Having completed some more of the DRK quests (and went to check out more info because I needed to know and leveling is taking forever lately), my money is on Rielle becoming Ratatoskr.

No real basis in logic beyond the obvious points gleaned from the DRK questline, but it makes a certain kind of sense. Rielle is a relatively minor character, so her becoming the "sacrifice" or what-have-you that's necessary for Ratatoskr to resurrect is not such a big deal, since it won't rock the main pantheon of characters so much. I also get a little fanboy-y about the idea of her and Sid being in a big brother-DRK/little sister-reborn ancient dragon relationship. Plus it's mentioned that she has a "great spirit" in her by the Vanu shaman, and I find it hard to believe simply being the child of a man who ingested dragon's blood would be enough to warrant "great spirit" designation. I may be reading too much into it though.

I'd hate to burst your bubble, but the great spirit in Rielle is simply the essense of the dying dragon's husband in her, and not Ratatoskr.

Midgardsormer is an alien from outer space that showed up around the same time the world was created. Lol

But what about the 2 frozen dragons in western coeurthos? I recall reading that they were fairly high up on the hierarchy.
It seems like Every generation of Dragon seems to get smaller. Middy(gen 1) is massive, nid and hrace are giant(gen 2), and virdofiner(sp?), generation 3, is significantly smaller than her father. And her brood are all smaller than she is.

Now back to the frozen dragons. They are pretty big. Almost big enough to be gen 2 (a.k.a. first brood)

    Thoughts?

Size doesnt' matter to dragon, their growth vary independantly of their "generation" (Vishap is far bigger than Nidhogg)

Omg how did I forget about vishap.

But those frozen dragons still need an explanation.

The size of a dragon does not determine his hierarchy. Vishap was way much bigger than Nidhogg.
A dragon's hierchary is based on his age, but that still isnt enought. Since Middy and his sosn would always be on the top of the line.

Second, I dont know why we are still having ppl saind that Middy is an space dragon. All this came from a comment that Tiamat said, that his father and brothers "came to the world". scu ha vague comment, mostly on a fantasy game and coming from a dragon can mean a lot of meanings, not just " we are alian dragons", no. Also is that we have just this comment, there is no prove at all about Middy's origins, yet.
