I understand that its a beginners gear and of course you cannot dye a lot of gears in general but I would like to dye more lower level armor. I think some are way better looking in different colors![]()

The armor style is copied in some other dyable styles. Personally, I'm glad there's now an actual dark colored lowbie set instead of either a kaleidoscope of rainbow vomit or bright yellow/red/whatever. It's also distinctive the way it is now, and it speaks to the character of the novice that they actually went and did the HoN training instead of bypassing it and buying inferior equipment.
Two peanuts are walking down the street. One is a salted.
And lose another dyeable model that was previously exclusive to BRd/MCH? No thanks.

There are already the red and black variations of it, and then the BRD/ MCH-specific Saurian version which you can dye. It seems a bit superfluous to make another.
^This. Specifically, their models are all directly based on dyeable ilevel 70 and 90 PvP gear - the tank novice gear is a palette swap of the level 50 ilevel 70 Warwolf Fending set, and the healer/mage/melee novice set is a palette swap of the level 50 ilevel 90 Direwolf sets (the later which exists separate 'healing', 'casting', 'maiming' and 'striking' sets for offensive mages, light and heavy melee respectively), which is naturally based on the level 15 Acolyte's (mage) and Foestriker sets (melee) respectively. These sets all require participation in PvP to gain Wolf Marks to acquire from an npc at the Wolves' Den, and can all be dyed to whatever colour you wish. The armor style is copied in some other dyable styles. So yeah, the Novice sets will not be made dyeable for this reason - their models already exist in dyeable versions as other gear sets (it should also go without saying too that the tank gear is also the equipment worn by Mylla, the Guildmistress of the GLA's Guild in Ul'dah, but that's another story.).
I support this.
The healer set is already available in a dyeable form, I believe as the i90 Cashmere/Saurian set.
Every armor should be dyable
People don't know how to take criticism anymore, and bad play is rewarded with with a coddling mentality. Yes, this is a casual game for the most part - that doesn't mean people need to walk on eggshells in fear of getting reported for pointing out things. This whole 'please don't say anything even slightly negative' mentality that we seem to be going towards and the devs seemingly pushing towards it is creating a disturbing trend.
