It says on the ring who they are married to, and the date of the anniversary, but to get a divorce, you need to go through a process, just like irl.

thats the point I mean whos to say someone would not play someone and take the ring off only to start drama there needs to be a better way to tell if someone is married and not easily taken off and lied about

I get that there are A LOT of MMOs that have the person you are married to over each other's heads instead of title's, but I rather like NOT having that.

You also don't wear the ring 24/7. It's a glamour option + a free teleport. That's all. So no one would be wearing the ring anyways, unless glam'd on.

I don't see what "drama" could possibly happen not knowing if someone is married or not, unless one of the parties involved is flirting and got rejected because the person was married and didn't know it. Or the person married is flirting with other people, in a game. Which in reality, not EVERYONE who is married in this game is together with the person they are married to. Some are, sure, but it's really kind of a, "No on needs to know who is married or not. Who they tell is up to them" sort of thing.
