Right, but all of that has more to do with the anonymity of the internet and the fact that people by and large can't reasonably be held accountable for their behavior (aside from the obvious tactics of reporting to GM's and/or blacklisting) than it does to do with the FFXIV community in particular. You see people like that in every game. Actually, I run into them less frequently in this community than I have in other gaming communities in the past, possibly due to the sub model. FFXIV has a lot of nice people, but no matter where you go there's always going to be at least a few assholes stinking up the place.
