I, too, was a Bastok Tarutaru. A rare breed, we were. I chose the largest size, which made me a veritable freakshow. You were more likely to see a unicorn walking the streets of Bastok than a giant Tarutaru.

There's just one thing, though.... I didn't get a Bastokan ring! You only got that if you were a Hume of a Galka starting in Bastok. Racist city....

I don't know...maybe they changed that later on. But I remember really feeling left out not having that ring.

I know that feel bro. Bastokan Elvaan and I had to break my back in those early days to afford a pair of balance rings while all the sissy humes got away with a free ring. No regrets, as Bastok is the greatest nation in the history of Final Fantasy. Sandy can suck it, and Windurst.... you're alright Windurst.
