Think it will happen one day?
They did it for the crystal tower
and finding a party in the duty finder for that Dungeon is quite easy now

Don't think so.
Crystal Tower raids are faceroll content. Coil, even with Echo, still requires decent coordination, at least for Second Coil and beyond (Binding Coil would probably be fine)

Mhm...I somehow doubt it. Reason being: Difficulty.
The relic weapon is not supposed to contain anything particularly challenging and the coils, especially synced, count as that IMO. If it was included as an option, people would likely not pick it. If it wasn't an option, it would go entirely against the clientele of the relic weapon, unless it also drops unsynced, in which case it kiiinda misses the point.
I dunno, unless they nerf the coils some more, I don't think the relic is gonna take us there.
World of Darkness would like a word.
But even then, it pales in comparison to the coordination required for hard-mode/ex/savage raiding. I can see them offering it as AN avenue, just like how they allowed us to use Poetic Tomestones to buy unidentifiables, but I doubt they'd make it exclusive. The only reason they were able to do it with Crystal Tower (*ahem* NOT Crystal Toast, Siri) was because the raid saga is complete, and the weekly reward was already in place.

Like any other 24-man raid, a single competent group of 6--any 6 people, really, as long as it's four DPS, one tank, and one healer--can carry WOD just fine. You can blow up two alliances during Angra Mainyu and still clear the fight if the DPS that stayed alive are the ones that were doing the bulk of the damage to begin with; unsurprisingly, the DPS that do the most damage tend to be the ones that also don't die to any of the mechanics...
Anyway, yes, OP, I'd like to see Coil opened up to give anima items directly. I'd love to cut out the Altana-damned ages of grinding to build a second (third, fourth, etc.) anima weapon.

Ongoing mission: Tank everything on DRG. On purpose.

Wod is faceroll also though.... lol
Having it is another option to have the drops in coil would be good i think.
Some players still have not experienced the beauty that was coil![]()
With the way players are today, most won't even be able to handle the mechanics, unsynced or not.
Thing is, they already do. Sohm Al might as well be dragonspeak for "Coil Trainer". The tower mechanic in Sephirot is the same one from T13. Pyretic in WoD? Blighted Bouquet without the instant kill.
The people who shy away from Coil saying they can't/don't want to deal with tough mechanics are already dealing with lesser variants of them.

Coil already received its update: dyable allagan gears.

And...that's the thing: Lesser.
There's a world of dark...difference between Angra Mainyu killing instantly with mortal gaze and giving a doom debuff that can be dispelled before instakilling because there's more room for error, which makes the mechanics easier to deal with. I'd actually be surprised if Alexander Savage had any mechanics that were never featured before in some way, but that doesn't exactly make it much easier.
So...yeah. If we'd nerf coil mechanics down, I'm sure people would lose their fright of dealing with the mechanics. Buuut...whether that's desired...I dunno.
