While you do make some good points, Graci, I'm going to stand on the opposite side of this fence here and support the argument that some of these healers are just that bad. It has nothing to do with the other team being better. Our healer just sucked and that's not really surprising since we all saw the achievement of this being their first match when they entered.

Now, that's not to say every unranked/new healer that comes in there is terrible. I have met some good ones, but more often than not, what happens? They die in like the first 30 seconds or so because they're in unfamiliar territory, don't understand the rules of the game, and can't deal with pressure properly yet, so they fall for little gimmicks and such (like baiting your purify or attunement). I've play enough matches so far to understand when a team member is holding us back and when the other team is actually just better.

I'll be frustrated if we lose to a better team, but that will pass. What won't pass is knowing that the player who cost us the match is going to continue queuing up and I'll probably get stuck with his scrub ass again. As I go higher up in the rankings, I have less and less patience these days for DRG players that can't pull over 100k damage or healers that drop in the first minute or so of the fight.

I do agree with this as well. There are some players you'll encounter repeatedly who can most definitely contribute heavily to your losing. I'm more so referring to the capable healers out there who still end up receiving a lot of blame from players just because they perceive any death as a fault that could have been avoided. Getting a brand new or inexperienced healer on your team is certainly frustrating, though, I imagine.

This is also not to say that tanks and DPS don't also get unfairly blamed, too, as I've seen that happen as well. And sometimes people probably do deserve some criticism for their play, but hopefully (and possibly as a result of this thread!) more and more of us can at least try to calm our frustrations over the result of the match and offer players some helpful advice if we encounter them in the future.
