Just got out of the most special Alexander run

Joined an in progress Fist of the Son. Didn't think much of it, jumped in the shortcut and ran up...then I noticed something, I was the only person on my party list.

Okay, maybe everyone left as I was joining...but then I noticed something else, there was a newbie bonus for the instance still. What?

So I ride the conveyor up and jump into the boss room, and lo and behold, there are 7 other people waiting there. WHAT?









I already submitted an official bug report, but I figured some of you would get a kick out of this. This made my night for sure. I barely survived the fight since the healers had trouble targetting me lol.

At least I won a bolt at the end. Thanks SE.

I had something like this happen when I was healing in an instance. We had a tank join in progress, but wasn't listed in the party. It wasn't too bad though, since I heal with mouse overs, but it's definitely an odd occurrence.

That happened to me before joining an in progress Haukke normal. DPS at the time so wasn't too bad but was interesting.

I had this happen to me in DF Bismark EX (on my poor WHM).

You don't wanna know how bad it was, LOL. I got kicked pretty fast after the first wipe. :')

I dunno, but I got removed. :O I wish I could ask someone who was there 'cause I was confused about it too.

[EDIT] Now that I think of it, maybe they Vote Abandoned? I never saw the pop up since I wasn't in the party, but that would explain why I was removed as well. My inprog queue was for 15-20 minutes into the fight.

I've seen things like this happen pretty much since the 2.0 launch.
It's never happened to me, but it's always funny to see.

Yeah, I was pretty dang lucky that I was on my summoner at the time. I just begged the healers to focus target me (though they said they had trouble targetting me at all for some reason).

That is pretty funny lol. Certainly a rare experience and not likely someone could forget easily.
