Bootshine occasionally not procing. Am I crazy?

I feel like my bootshine doesn't crit naturally after my opener. I'm pretty confident that I'm behind the target, but at least 50% of the time, it doesn't crit.

Is it because I'm technically not in opo-form after PB? I swear I remember this not being an issue in earlier patches, but maybe I'm just not as attentive as I thought.

You're not in *any* form after PB. Notice the lack of form icons in your first image.

Right, that's what I meant by not being in opo, sorry should have clarified

So I guess that's the culprit, I'll just have to force it into that 10 second window somehow orz

I wouldn't worry about it too much. No matter what you do either boot doesnt crit or dk doesnt apply debuff after pb ends. Nothing can be done about it but ir should be up which gives boot a higher chance to still crit. So even if you were somehow able to boot during pb (like my double monk party opener where I move twin into dk spot and then boot where I normally twin), leaving pb would require you to hit another boot without a form.
