Help Bard's Mage Ballad

I was level my archer 30lvl as bard. Got "Mage Ballad" spell.
I'm confused what this buff use it? I saw it's "buff"

I was keep it. Then I in duty finder. Person asked me "Remove singing"
I guessed I could use Mage Ballad myself solo with enemies?

It regenerates your party's mana, but you deal less damage while singing. For the most part, you don't ever need to use it unless the party is dying and healer is out of mana from resurrecting.

Don't ever use Mage's Ballad by yourself.
When it's active, you do 15% less damage.
However, it speeds up the MP regeneration of you and your party.

For example, if a healer is low on MP, they might ask you to sing Ballad. You do NOT have to keep it on until you run out of MP, though, just sing for a few seconds, until the healer's MP is back to a high level, then turn it off.

If you open up your actions and traits menu, the job tab lists all abilities you get from job quests. Read through that for every ability and you'll have a pretty good idea what they do. You really don't wanna be using ballad unless it's necessary.
