Hi Jade! ;D
So what I have been doing is getting my second Alt into HW, working on dynsth, red scrips, favors mat gathering, building a materia fleet, preparing stacks of HQ mats, MC/FC3s, and few other things. Making a lala battalion, the usual!![]()

Favors are fine aside from Hinterlands BTN... Worst drop rates and that one Silkworm blocking the concealed node...
I do like the current 3 star stuff though... so easy to gather and craft for.
I agree Alisi, some crafts are even worse than others. I hate weaving, for example, because you have to gather the mats, craft the thread, gather more mats to combine with the thread to make cloth, gather more mats to make an item that combines with the cloth to make yet another cloth... That's all before you even begin to start on the final item! Goldsmith is gather mats, make metal/gems, make final item. Obviously this is greatly simplified but shows how disparate the crafting classes can be & why certain crafts tend to be less popular.
Capped blue scrips for gathering and crafting
Save red scrips for gathering and crafting
Buy as many as possible essos mats
Buy gathering and crafting materias
I'm working on getting my three specialists to 3*, or at the very least just weaver and crp (CRP is already there). Right now my weaver is barely short with just the red scrip MH/OH, so in two more weeks when i get the chest that will be set too. But then I plan on getting full melded 170 left eventually with it because I figured that's going to be the most important one for the upcoming crafter sets.
Sorta wish I went specialist blacksmith over armorer though, but I can't afford the wait time to switch at the moment.
I'm just collecting tier IV crafting materia with my airship. I'm already a 3* crafter with my 3 specalist, so I'm just waiting for the new crafting gear to be released. Oh, ofc I'm doing my weekly red scrips.
Once we have a release date, I'm going to pentameld the right side 170s that I got recently, since my best guess is that the new gear won't include accessories (but I could be wrong about that). With that done, I should be prepared enough to make the new gear as LTW and WVR, since Yoshi's said we'll need the current gear to make the newer ones (which suggests they'll be 3-star crafts).
Beyond that, I don't want to invest a lot or assume too much, since that's come back to haunt me before.

I only recently came back after months away, before took break I grinded all my DoH to 60. Since back I just started working on gearing up my DoH (grinding red scrips)...however since 3.3 is coming with new multi-class equipment I plan to only gear up the minimum of my DoH classes enough to make the new multi-classed gear. I am guessing that will mean GSM, LTW and WVR probably will be the classes which will make the new DoH gear sets. Even if some components for the new sets might require other classes I will just buy those components at that time and just gear up GSM, LTW and WVR in the meantime. I am not worrying about farming materia's for time being, especially since I do not have an airship of my own to make gathering them easy.

I would do CRP instead of GSM as GSM only makes earrings whereas CRP makes necklace, bracers, and rings.
