    Exorcist/Spiritmancer/Medium The Dark Healer

    Ok so i have seen a few post on a Necrotic Healer and was looking at the Exorcist in Braverly Second and thought why not add it as a healer in FF14. Necromancy is a BIG NO in Eorzea so why not summon the dead spirits instead of a Zombiefied Corpse. Her is just an example of it sorry in advance I just made this of the top of my Head so bare with me lol

    Name: Exorcist/Spiritmancer/Medium
    Weapon: Crystal Ball (Think Viola from Soul Calibur 5)
    Role: Healer
    CC Skills: Conjurer and Arcanist

    As many die with no warning many seek spiritual guidance and to reunite with the past, But none seek Aetheric Knowledge from the Spirits other than these powerful Mages. These Mages Commune with the dead to gain eternal knowledge by speaking with the dead and harnessing Aetheric energy from the plane. Spiritmancy was born to harness Aetheric energy from the plane. When any life dies in Eorzea they release Aetheric energy. These mages gained knowledge to wield this energy for powerful magicks to rejuvenate wounds or to command the very spirits they call upon to devastate the foe.

    Skills

    1 Ectoplasm-Deals spiritual damage with a potency of 150
    2 Antithesis-Restores target's Hp Cure Potency: 400
    4 Seance-Conjures a Spirit and Restores 10% of maximum MP
    6 Haunt- Commands a Spirit to Deal Spiritual damage over time.
    8 Osmose- Deals unaspected damage with a potency of 150 and absorbs 50% of damage dealt as MP
    10 Prayer- Restores own HP and HP of all nearby party members Cure potency: 300
    12 Reanimate-Resurrects target to a weakened state
    15 Poltergeist-Deals Spiritual damage with a potency of 120 to target and all enemies nearby it
    18 Exorcise-Removes a single detrimental effect from target.
    22 Ectoplasm II- Deals spiritual damage with a potency of 170
    26 Glossolalia-Next spell is cast immediately
    30 Possession- Returns a Haunting spirit back to the caster.
    30 Soul Blaster- Souls Charge towards the enemy dealing damage with a potency of 100 for each Soul possessing the caster.

    Just by looking at skills it looks to be more of the same of what already exists. And a skill that's the same as swiftcast to bypass the need for Thaumaturge CC skills? I have to laugh.

    While I do have to agree with MagiusNecros that what you posted is essentially what all the healers have, I do see some interesting things with the concept you laid out.
    I would focus on playing up the Spirit-Summoning angle, it seems like it could really help differentiate the job from the rest of the healers. Have benevolent spirits help with heals and malicious spirits help with DPS, for example.
    I would also suggestion deciding now if you want the job to be more of a main healer or an off-healer. With what you have now, I would go off-healer.

    I haven't finish with it almost all healers the same at lvl 30 Lol. But yes I was just interested in the concept of exorcist in ff14 lol

    I would also add that the potency are way too high in the DPS area. It's almost à DPS that can also heal.

    Osmose and seance and kinda strong MP regen depending of their cooldown (osmose is too OP as it is)
    With poltergeist you're even putting shame to thaumaturge who got à weaker aoe skill... And their suppose to be the stronger aoe DPS at this level.
    Ecto II is like malefic II from the AST that is learn at level 52 but here it's 22... Damn not balanced

    I think potency should be rethink a bit.

    And this job could be fun with like a trait that allow this healer to gain like 10% potency for a short time for each teammate who died nearby XD

    How about this for Haunt

    Haunt- Commands a spirt to haunt the target-dealing DoT and returning 75% back as a HoT to nearby party members. Potency 100 scales with MND
    Trait Bonus: increase range of HoT and returns 90% of damage back as HoT.

    Not sure if it's OP. But would be a different healing style. Ala Vanilla Shadowpriest.

    hey your focus more create a new job not use one that already in ff title

    most the jobs that square enix add to ffxiv already where they in another ff title. such Astrologer it in ff tactic

    I do believe we could use a "dark" themed healer. Like the Corruption Sorcerer in swtor or the Defiler Cleric from Rift.

    Defiler for example has a heal called Foul Growth, a big heal called Hideous Reconstruction, and another heal called Ghastly Restoration.

    Sorcerer has spells like Dark Heal, Dark Infusion, and a self heal called Unnatural Preservation.

    I appreciate the theme of it and think this game could use something like that.

    Oracle is job in final fantasy this problem work for a dark healer in way they do yin yang. for example they use magic could be like drain.

    when the Dev team are make new jobs the draw use of job already in final fantasy as theme and use they name for it.
