    not much room for new abilities anyway, unless they add some op (or situational) stuff on long CDs or even more DPS for our tanks.

    they might have to re-check their new damage formula again since attack power increase per ilevel is higher for the DD than for the tanks, which will likely result in hate problems down the line again. though they can simply up the enmity generation of certain skills (or stances)

    traits would be nice, especially for stuff like souleater hp absorbation. even now it's not really doing much when your hp pool is at 25k and you absorb 1500 hp... same for the useless hp absorbation part of storm's path or bloodbath

    Before I even begin to consider new abilities for the Tanks I'd love to see them address the existing problems with the ones we already have, specifically with Drk (who mostly lacks OT utility) and Pld (don't even get me started on this one). I would love for the Dev team to sit down and hammer out a detailed and viable plan for addressing the current tank balance and create a solid foundation for them to build on. Then, and only then, am I okay with seeing additions.

    Of course, I'm not holding my breath for this to actually happen. SE has all but admitted that they'll never do it. I don't think we've seen any meaningful tank adjustments since War got their overhaul waaaaaaaaaay back in 2.1. I'd love to know what happened to the individual who was responsible for that adjustment, because since then it's been nothing but bandage after flimsy bandage ...

    I agree that tank balance is really bad atm. Warriors are practically mandatory to have in raids due to their high dps in Deliverance and their 10% damage reduction debuff. If it wasn't for the bonus on the Limit Break bar, the other two tank classes would often get benched. There is also a TBC tank mentality in the community with Paladins being the MT class with Dark Knights doing ok if you don't have a Paladin.

    I'm sure the only for that adjustment was the fact that in 2.0, Warriors were unviable for raiding and caused a huge problem.

    The sad thing is I feel like PLD (or even simply GLD) revisions could be a gateway to a lot of interesting ideas that could stand as landmarks for future tank concepts...

    what id like to see...

    *Pld given offensive support to make up for low damage possibly making up for low ot damage making it possible to ot rather then force the job to mt
    *Drk given some unique party support to actually be some use to the party and given the skills to allow it to properly ot so not to force it to mt
    *War being properly balanced with the other two (not do so much more dps that it gets forced into the ot role)
    *if not the above, giving drk and pld more synergy to actually give a reason for a group to use this combo

    Don't give yourself hopes about more stances for tanks.

    We will get one or two abilities. Most likely one Defensive CD and one Offensive CD.
    Rest will be traits.

    Hell, most likely all of them will be traits.

    Embrace Shorter recast times for DRK abilities. Cuz most likely those will be "Hastened" type traits.

    I would like Warriors to feed off of aggro and thrive in large pulls with blood bath buffs and extensions, make dark arts give more interesting effects to skills and to just give the DA buffs for dark mind or Dark dance without the use of DA fo personal QoL, an increase to the DRK's self-heals to keep up with my WAR changes, a little pet whose design would be determined by your race and gender that would basically spew obscenities and cheer the player on, and give palidan's the ability to shift aggro to another party member and make it so that they debuff an enemies DEF/M.DEF/EVA for the other party member if they have aggro on them in tank stance. And, anything to lesson skill bloat like a limit of 32 skills or something.

    Oh, and I would really like it if they had slender variations of DRK's loot weapons for glamour purposes, and polka dot and ridiculous Katana blades for SAM. It's only fair.

    Trait: Enhanced Sheltron
    Sheltron adds 1 stack of Brace. Reduce cool down to 1.5 seconds. Stops auto-attacks. Brace will block the next physical or magical attack. Each additional stack of Brace adds 2.5% block strength for a maximum of 4 stacks. On successful block, will get equivalent stack of a debuff Shield Fatigue. Each stack of Shield Fatigue equate to 30 seconds of not being able to reuse Sheltron.

    Shield Fatigue I, cannot use Sheltron for 30 seconds.
    Shield Fatigue II, cannot use Shelron for 60 seconds.
    Shield Fatigue III, cannot use Shelron for 90 seconds.
    Shield Fatigue IV, cannot use Shelron for 120 seconds.

    Guys, You all have really nice ideas, i like them.

    But all of them are literally OP.

    I have nothing against sheltron enchantment, but you can as well make Brace be an ability adding 10% block strength for physical nad magical attacks. Why? Becuase for maximum effect you will spam sheltron 4 times, because it costs nothing. Similar goes with DRK Dark Mind. You don't use unbuffed version when you really need DM. The only prevention is high mana cost.
    If yo umake skill to be buffed at a low price, people will use at max strength.

    What's current Sheltron cooldown? 30 sec? i woudn't be surprised, if it ends up with cooldown reduction to 20 sec. Maybe bonus 10% block strength. But don't count on that.

    Until SE gonna surpise us and change Warrior Of Light into Lightning and her Army of One ultimate skill.

    Currently, Warriors of Light are humans- don't get me wrong, i don't speak about the race. Each attack moreless looks like a normal person is struggling with weapon. Of course, Jump or Decimate don't look like something that normal person is beeing able to perform.
    But WoL is not fighting like Heroes in Dissidia in example.

    Mid-Air Power Ultimate Shining Mega auto-attack.

    Conclusion: Traits will be most likely just traits. What we have now, but for levels 50-60 skills. Nothing spectacular or something we will be looking forward to...

    Guys, you must take udner consideration current Traits mechanic. Those are minor enchantments, not tremendous changes.

    Traits won't change the effect or mechanic of the skill.

    I was thinking this would be more of a reactionary mitigation skill. Telegraphed boss attacks usually have a cast of 2-3 second? Some are longer. If you Brace too early it might get triggered and now you have to wait 30 seconds and just missed mitigation on the actual boss attack, etc. Can increase recast to 2 seconds, so the theoretical max you could apply might be 3 stack on a long telegraphed boss attack (or 4 if your SS is good) on rare occasions. At which point you can't use it again for 90 seconds. If that is still too "OP", then increase the recast from 35 seconds per debuff stack. It basically moves Sheltron from a move to increase your block rate percentage a minuscule amount to a skill based mitigation (hopefully).
