Sadly... I stopped supporting my FC's airship endeavors after i found out how much crafting materia was potentially being hoarded by the higher ranking officers.

They did give me 3 Dusk Leathers when they first came out as thanks for assisting them. These were given primarily so i could have someone make a Free Company Tabard though lol. FC is still pretty cool. The ppl are still great regardless, and i have a feeling they'd let me have some materia if i were to really ask for it...

Wow, in my FC, we always prioritize airship rewards to those who contributed to the airship then to people who help in other ways, then everybody else.

I used to be in a FC where the crafters/gatherers did all the work to get the airships up and running, and then the FC leader would turn around and charge those same crafters/gatherers a ton of gil to BUY the items the ships brought back. I'm happy to say I no longer belong to that FC. But, it doesn't stop me from wanting so badly to call them out every time I see a recruitment thread from them.
