How difficult is it to find a raid group?

I quit raiding in ffxiv simply due to the lack of stability in raid statics since day 1. Even tried to create them both within and outside of my fc. Nothing but no shows, arguments, conflicts or people who don't take raiding seriously and find a night of wiping hilarious instead of using it as a learning experience or even bother trying to do better (which just causes more conflicts). I even shut down my fc and sit in it with just me and my rl friends. As an fc leader I was sick of the whining about nothing to do and then no one showing up, stepping up to help or even showing any interest in the multitude of activities I tried to set up. Rarely had issues like that with the ls I ran in xi, and if they did spring up they were quickly resolved and we grew into an active and quite prosperous ls that lasted years.

Plus unlike coil, alex has nothing to offer but a small boost in ilvl. At least coil had a story that was worth the turmoil.
