How difficult is it to find a raid group?

Because I haven't had any luck lately. The last 5 raid groups I've been in have either:

- Quit prematurely due to people not showing up, issues, etc.
- Kicked people out due to personality
- Kicked people out due to lack of gear/skill

I've recently been kicked out of a raid group, and now I'm trying to find one. I can't transfer, so I'm stuck on Behemoth server to try and find one...if there is one. i222 White Mage, and no experience. I wonder how that'll turn out.

put up something in Party Finder. I'm about to go through the same thing. I took a vacation since august/september and im about to go through the same thing once I get my Ilvl back up. I haven't some anything since turn 13 of Bahamut (never finished it). But I can see your frustration. everyone wants experienced people who have cleared everything..

Yeah, to an extent. Though again it's raid statics, so there's not much you can do about it. I wonder how long I'll have to put stuff up in PF for...

From looking at the PF about 80% of the raid statics I look at are looking for DPS. Let alone, creating a raid group needs coordination and a bit of work. I'll just put my stuff up in PF each day for like a couple hours and see what happens. If nothing happens, then eh. I just hope that I can get a group for Savage before it becomes outdated and I get gimped on everything else.

I quit raiding in ffxiv simply due to the lack of stability in raid statics since day 1. Even tried to create them both within and outside of my fc. Nothing but no shows, arguments, conflicts or people who don't take raiding seriously and find a night of wiping hilarious instead of using it as a learning experience or even bother trying to do better (which just causes more conflicts). I even shut down my fc and sit in it with just me and my rl friends. As an fc leader I was sick of the whining about nothing to do and then no one showing up, stepping up to help or even showing any interest in the multitude of activities I tried to set up. Rarely had issues like that with the ls I ran in xi, and if they did spring up they were quickly resolved and we grew into an active and quite prosperous ls that lasted years.

Plus unlike coil, alex has nothing to offer but a small boost in ilvl. At least coil had a story that was worth the turmoil.

I'm getting tired of this. Also that site only shows stuff for raid areas like Gilgamesh and what-not. Behemoth apparently isn't one of those things and is a server full of liars who will lie to you about anything when it comes to joining a raid group. When I hear "You are permanent." That should mean that I have the job. If someone up and lies to me about it, that just ticks me off more than anything.

Right now, I'm going back into PF, and hope I can get a raid group who won't just throw me away like trash after they practice something and wait for their friend to get back.

And people wonder why I'm trying to pawn off finding a static onto my friends.

I got a fun story. So I was away doing stuff, couldn't play for a good long time, and a couple friends got invited to a static on another server. They transfer, show up there, the whole company transfers to Gilgamesh the next day without a word.

I see plenty of statics looking for people throughout the day. If you do not find one to your liking though. you could try and start your own

Finding people to raid with is easy, the real works comes in making sure you can stay a static group with these players. It can be hard or easy, depends on your server and how you are as a leader.
