Why would you EVER afk from fishing?!?! Many action! Much suspense! One slip up and you might miss the double mooch northern pike!!

Jokes aside, I find if I release too many fish, the "fish know what you're up to" message pops up earlier, but never ran into a problem while afk. So I just fill up my inventory and turn them in to a vendor. I'm no expert though. My fisher is only 50.

Really? Oh lord. That's kind of ridiculous, if you think about it. /sigh I'm not saying it hard or anything, and I've found I only need to move a little to either side to get the message to go away, but it's so strange. I can AFK as a miner either in a node or at the nodes for hours and hours, but not in a fishing hole? You make waaaay more gil with the other gatherers. I suppose the ease of staying in one spot helps though.

It is nice that we don't actually have to pay attention. The fishing class in my last MMO made it so you had to pay attention and click the little bobbing bait to collect the fish. =.=' This I can at least read a book. It's a scary one too. Q.Q People dying left and right. It makes up for having to stay in one spot like a crazy person clicking one of two buttons.
