Hello!

I am having a problem in that I will become completely stuck on the loading screen when teleporting into certain areas, those being Idyllshire, Northern Thanalan and Western La Noscea. It does not happen 100% of the time but the chances of this happening are always pretty high. It also happens when attempting to join a game of Seal Rock, which is a pain.

Basically what happens is that the game will just not respond and will get stuck on the loading screen. A simple CTRL+ALT=Del is not enough, as doing this causes everything else to become unresponsive. The only thing I can do to fix this is to either log out of windows and log back in, or reboot my computer. If I'm fast enough to cancel logging off when the "you may lose saved data blahblah" screen appears, then the game will shut down and everything will be responsive again. This is the only way to actually close the game when this happens. And even then, if I attempt to get past the character selection screen whilst still in DX11, it will hang again, meaning all I can do is use DX9. It is maybe worth noting that this only happens when I teleport. Going to Idyllshire through the Hinterlands, Northern Than through Central or Mor Dhona and even Western La Noscea through the ferry skipper will not cause a crash.

Of course the simple solution would be to use DX9, but I get horrible fps when using that against the constant 60 I get in DX11. It is not such a big deal when teleporting to areas but when joining Seal Rock it is a problem as my group will be minus one player until I'm able to join again, which can take anywhere between 5 and 10 minutes.

I'm not using fancy settings, just basic settings that work well unless I teleport to these areas. I have noticed that almost every area (including most dungeons) does cause my game to hang for about 1-2 seconds but then it just continues to load as normal. I am totally stumped as to why this happens and how I can fix it. I've tried just about every solution I've found and even then very few of the solutions I found were related to this problem and rather just DX11 problems in general.

It shouldn't really matter as this is the only game this happens on and the game otherwise runs very well, but there are my specs.

Windows 7 64bit
GeForce GTX 770
8GB Ram
AMD FX8350 8-Core

I would appreciate any help!
