Could we get some Triple Triad matchmaking please?

The only times I ever play against another human are when I'm begging my friends to lose to me so I can get some platinum cards in the triple triad tournament. I would like to play the tournament correctly (I only care about the platinum cards so I can finish collecting all the heroes), but it's impossible the way the game is set up right now. Beyond that, I would also like to play against other people and get the bonus MGP from playing against people that day.

So, just put up some matchmaking. Anything. Just match me with whomever, I don't care. Anything is better than what I have.

I'd say post in one of the numerous win-trading threads, where people are against win-trading and would like a solution to it.

I don't even care about the win trading. I just care that that's the only option anyone has. I had to sit there for an hour with a friend with no payment for her. It was boring for her, and it was boring for me. If I could just knock off five or ten matches a day with a random player, it would be far more manageable and more entertaining.

This is a problem with the whole of the GS, there are too few ways for players to find people to play against. The devs should have forseen that not having a match-making system (duty finder would work) would be detrimental to the game. This is very basic game design 101, look at what you are building, find games similar to it and put those games apart and find out how they work.

Every single game out there worth its salt in the vein of TT and LoV have online matchmaking that tries to take as many people into a pool (which does cause balance issues at times). Without this feature TT and LoV were basically doomed to fail.

I'm pretty sure the dev team knows the GS is basically dead and at this point they are unlikely to invest lots of resources into trying to revive it.

It does seem like Chocobo Racing is seeing a resurgence with the last patch, since doing all the challenge log entries nets you roughly 30k MGP. And I don't know much about Verminion, since it doesn't appeal much to me (plus I only need three wins a week). But Triple Triad seems to be one of the games that everyone wants to get into, but quickly lose interest in due to lack of interest and a huge grind requirement to get started.
