Antisocial Person Looking For Free Company (Social/Endgame)

Hi, my name is Kreindis. As advertised, I am an anti-social person looking for an FC. Yes, that's contradictory but at the end of the day, playing solo is only fun to an extent. Here is a list of relevant information about me.

Main Job: Formerly Dragoon, Currently Unknown
Current Server: Malboro – Willing to Transfer
    Preferred Role: Melee DPS
Active Times: 2 PM to 10 PM PST
Playstyle: General. Prefers PvE content. PvPs when there's nothing else to do.
Attitude: Analytical, Over Analytical, Rambles about FFXIV lore/jobs/wishes, Enjoys raid “progression”* of all types, semi min/maxer, mostly keeps to themselves, loyal.

With that said. I'm a recent resub to FFXIV. I quit FFXIV not due to a lack of things to do but rather a lack of satisfactory social elements. It's really not fun to log into a FC that complains about the game every single day, or being part of a static where you have one person consistently late by 30 minutes (This is the least egregious thing about said static, I'm listing this information as reference points, nothing more or less) so I simply stopped playing, the game wasn't fun at that point.

I've been resubbed for about a month now and found FFXIV fun again, but still, without any place to go socialwise. As mentioned above, I'm not even sure what job I want to main right now so I'm looking for a social FC primarily but also one that participates in endgame content to some extent. My personal goal is to find a place to settle in, and then go from there. I do enjoy raiding, but until I've actually reached a census on whether or not I want to commit to raiding again, it's almost (not entirely) a non-factor.

*I felt like this was important to elaborate upon. When I say progression, I'm not specifically talking about Server/World First progression, or even one shot progression. I actually find that type of raiding tiring and have no desire to do it. What I mean instead is actual progress being made within reason.

Like to me, showing up to a raid and never killing anything is progress so long as everyone is having fun and actually wants to be there. The “within reason” part comes into play when people start to become frustrated at that, and regress due to emotions; and I think the repetition of “failure” sorts groups out by itself. Simply put, good raid groups will use the failure as opportunities to improve. Bad raid groups will at best, continue the repetition over and over again, and at worse, fall apart.

    Hey there,
My FC Shepherds of Fire sounds right up your ally. We don't really have anyone who largely complains about the game, and real good mix of player styles. There are people who raid, PVP, craft and gather, or just level and do dungeons. Feel free to give me a shout in game if you'd like to talk about it further or if you have any questions.
