My favourite Ishgardian soap opera continues!

I'm wondering if this story ties back to the conflicts and reunion between lowborns and highborns of Ishgard as MSQ progressing in each patch of 3.0. It might end happily if lowborns and highborns become united due to our effort as warriors of light

Oh, so that's what that was? I came across this couple being harassed in Idlyshire with seeing any previous scenes. I was really upset that I couldn't interact with them and intervene. lol

I stumbled upon this dialogue bit in <14,9> of the Pillars in Ishgard, right near the Athenaeum Astrologicum teleport crystal. As I didn't really follow the saga from the beginning (but now I have caught up on it!) I'm not sure if this is the latest update or a middle-of-the-saga conversation. From the sound of things, it appears this might take place before the highborn hires Reno and Rude to accost the poor man.

So far the story has been chronological so this definitely takes places after last patch.

From the looks of it our lovers were unable to beat off Reno and Rude and have returned to Ishgard.
Their pure love convinces the lord to give up on her..... or not? Like Ametrine I am deeply concerned what Reginald his 'task' is.

I don't have screen shot (I should have taken some...) but in french, it looks like the lord really accepts their love. It sounds like "I love her and wish for her happiness, even if it's without me".
I'll try to watch it again and take some screenshot (for those fluent en french though)

In german, it sounds a lot happier for them, too. In the end, the lord asks Reginald to find him a new bride. But then, the german version is often much more child-friendly than the rather dark english one. I like those dark tidbits in english.
