QoL Changes/Ideas Thread

There are plenty of QoL changes that can be made or may just simply need to be made(varies with opinion). I felt that these things should be listed so the devs can see it and maybe even consider making the changes put forth. Here are some of my ideas:


Private Cottage/House/Mansion Tenants Locking Doors
I'm not sure why tenants cant do this currently. But I think it would be a big help to home owners if everyone can lock the door. Tenant locking could be a permission that can be turned on/off by the owner of course. To prevent abuse

Levemetes In HW Sanctuaries
Come on SE... why? Just why, do you have the "Teleport to nearest settlement" option if there ain't no dang levemete there?? Its also very inconvenient to have to teleport all the way back to Ishgard to get leves and go back.. every time. All they need to do is just add an NPC to the settlements you go to.

Retainer Auto-Ventures
Allow me to explain... Basically this would be where you assign a retainer a mission and then they go out. And keep going out. Example: You give your retainer 20 ventures for 1h missions. The retainer goes over and over again for the amount of ventures you give, and without you going back to the bell. But the rule would be that all items go to their inventory and that they must have inventory space for it. If they run out of space they stop going. Auto-Ventures can be ended but you will not get back your venture!

Allow people to be invited to parties even with their chocobo out, and if they accept, auto choco dismissal occurs.
Allow the choco to be out while queued in DF, or while doing quests that require you to be by yourself.
Allow minions to be summoned while chocobo is out.

That would be nice. How about letting them ride on the back of your mount with you, or float alongside if they're not the sit-down type?

A event/raid planer for FCs. Almost like pf, just with date and ppl joining will be marked as 'participant' and given a reminder when logging on the set day.

Right click > Report Abuse option for reporting RMT tells. I spend more time filling out the current report than I do playing the game....

1. Being able to use Chocobo while being queued for the Duty Finder.

2. Being in a party and being able to queue for a dungeon. I was FATE farming yesterday and there were alot of players doing FATES, but nobody joined our Party. When looking around, we see alot of players with the Searching for Duty icon.

Having the option to use chocobo companion or being in a party while in a queue should have been something that they should have fixed during 2.0.
